Twentytwo Bishopsgate is set to become the new flagship offices for AXA Investment Managers when it is finally completed in late 2019, after 13 years. As it seeks to “simplify” its business operations, the development firm is consolidating its two offices in London — currently at 7 Newgate Street and 155 Bishopsgate — into one large headquarters, in what will be the second tallest building in the UK.

Although sources have confirmed it is too early to confirm how much space the company will be taking at the new premises, chief executive at AXA, Andrea Rossi, has stated: “This is an exciting move for our staff in London, a vital investment centre for AXA IM clients globally. The move will bring together our London-based teams under one roof and this will enable us to improve and update the technology that supports our employees as well to live and breathe our Responsible Investing philosophy given the sustainable credentials of the building… This is ultimately for the benefit of our clients and very much in line with our plans announced in June to evolve and simplify our organisation.”
