Reed Smith gives up two floors at Broadgate Tower

After a significant review of its real estate requirements in the capital, American law firm Reed Smith has made the decision to give up 26,266 sq ft over two floors of office space at Broadgate Tower.

The company introduced an agile working policy in London last year, and this is the first extensive review it has conducted as part of the new initiative. Although this is a somewhat significant cutback, the firm will still retain the 10-floor space it holds at 201 Bishopsgate.

London managing partner at Reed Smith, Andrew Jenkinson, has said of the move: “We are constantly evaluating our use of real estate in line with changing working styles among our lawyers and business services professionals. We know that people want to work in a more agile and collaborative environment and that more importantly, this helps us attract, retain and get the best out of our talent.”
