Whitbread and its development partner Locate Developments have secured planning permission for a large new Premier Inn hotel and restaurant in Chipping Barnet in North London.

Built on the site of a former carpark next to The Spires shopping centre and in close proximity to Barnet High Street, the property will be ideally placed for plenty of tourist custom, and will be comprised of three and four storeys housing 100 bedrooms. Once completed, it will be the second Premier Inn hotel located in the borough of Barnet, and is expected to open in 2020.
