When assisting clients who are moving to a new office, Morgan Pryce recognises the need for the company to put its mark on the site. A regular requirement of a client is a space that has a style that represents who they are, and if they can’t find a building that can provide that, then the interior fit-out is where they make their mark instead. Nike did just this to spruce up its current offices which are based in Soho. 

Nike brought in consultancy Rosie Lee last November to redesign the new UK headquarters. The idea was to create a space that was inspired by both the brand’s unique heritage and London itself. 

The illustrators Rob Flowers and Chris Martin were hired to create murals as part of the redesigning of the space. 

Rosie Lee has previously worked on various projects for Nike, including the interactive installation they designed for Nike Town, which is based on Oxford Street in Soho; the installation was designed to coincide with the launch of the new England football kit. 

The recent redesign of the office space sees themed zones introduced, which are inspired by Nike products such as Air Jordan and Air Max 180. Each zone has its own colour and imagery, while the new reception area has been refurbished to contain an illustrated wall mural suited to Nike’s brand, painted in its recognisable orange colour. 

The fitting out of an office can be a lengthy process but the end results can be very rewarding, and can enhance the brand itself, as Nike has shown.
