2013 has been referred to as the year of the start-ups and here at Morgan Pryce we have worked alongside many start-up companies in assisting them in their office acquisition. Now it seems that 2014 is set to be a different kind of year, where these start-up businesses will now be proving their worth and this year is looking to be the year of the growing business.

Since 2011, there have been more than million new businesses set up, just in the UK. This is a record number. The government is now initiating a number of initiatives this year to support small businesses. These initiatives have been in the pipeline for a number of months, but we are all looking forward to them taking affect this year. Growth vouchers will be the first initiative to be revealed later this month, which can be used to access good business advice in conjunction with Enterprise Nation. In the US, there is already a well-established advice culture which is inbuilt to all new business models and is now being encouraged here in the UK. There will also be better investment in broadband across all of the UK. 

All throughout last year, we noted how fibre broadband was a key element in the office move for many of our clients, so this move towards better brandwidth will support new small companies regionally. 

Morgan Pryce has already started working this year with companies that were set up in the last couple of years and who are now expanding and looking to move into larger premises. We look forward to spending 2014 on office moves for growing companies.
